Live
St. John's Newfoundland

St. John's Newfoundland - Easternmost settlement in North America (except Greenland). The sun comes up and goes down here before anyplace else in in North America, except a few weeks on either side of the summer solstice, when the sun comes up earlier in the way north. St. John's weather is mild, much warmer than Goose Bay Labrador, only a few hundred miles away.

Looking down on this spot from space shows rock cliffs hundreds of miles long.

Between Newfoundland/Labrador and the United States, Quebec province is filled with everything French and French-Canadian. This is a relatively small enclave, where the French people held the line against the English in the 17th-18th centuries. Rumor has it Quebec is unfriendly to outsiders. I suspect that applies triple especially to anyone of English orientation.
